SAVE Youth Bangladesh in partnership with Resiliency Initiative is organizing the art contest ‘Art against dangerous speech’. Students from various institutions have participated in this event. The goal of this contest is to spread awareness against dangerous speech in the social media. 10 participants have been shortlisted initially in the first round of the contest.
Second round of the contest will be held on 10 September 2022 at 7.30 pm. A workshop will be organized for the 10 shortlisted participants where they will be presenting their journey and the meaning of their artwork. 5 participants will be selected as a finalist from this workshop. At the same time, there will be some lessons in the workshop from the organizers about the strategies and essentials for the social media campaign.
In their artwork, they tried to present what dangerous speech is and how it affects individuals and society. Participants primarily used facebook platform to share their content for a wider audience to reach. The best content creator will be declared as “Youth Spotlight” and it will be declared in the final round. He/she will be awarded a Tab, crest, and certificates (Nokia T10/ Honor Tablet v7 pro or similar).
