The Microgovernance Research Initiative (MGR) at the University of Dhaka, along with the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) and USAID, is hosting the Youth Democracy Summit on July 13th, 2024! Held at Dhaka University, this event promises a day of insightful discussions, engaging panels, and valuable interactions.
This year’s summit is particularly exciting for graduates of the “Democracy- From Theory to Practice” (DFTP) course from Dhaka University, University of Barishal, University of Chittagong and Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and Technology University (BSMRSTU). These graduates will be recognized for their dedication to democracy with a special certificate ceremony.
The agenda is packed with activities that encourage discussion, knowledge sharing, and action. Expect a mix of expert panels, interactive sessions, and networking opportunities. This ensures everyone’s voice is heard, creating a truly democratic environment.
Participants can also meet key personnel from USAID and IFES, expanding their professional network. The summit will bring together members from 17 different chapters, Save Youth members, and moderators. This diverse group highlights the summit’s role as a hub for young leaders and democracy advocates to connect, share ideas, and build lasting relationships.
Benefits of attending include a certificate of participation, networking with USAID and IFES representatives, and complimentary food, a bag, and a notepad. These perks ensure a comfortable and productive experience for all.
Register through this Google form by July 3rd to join the summit. Don’t miss this empowering event! Whether you’re a DFTP graduate, a Save Youth member, or passionate about democracy, the Youth Democracy Summit is the place to be for meaningful discussions and working together for a stronger democratic future.
