Art Against Covid 19

International Art contest against COVID-19 was an initiative by SAVE Youth. The entire contest held online from 15th June to 24th July 2020. Close to three hundred participants from five different countries showed their interest on this program. About two thousand people from various countries followed this contest on Facebook event page.

Through this contest we have reached thousands of people of different parts of the world. At least 40 thousand people were directly involved with our contest where additionally nearly 30 thousand people heard and viewed our contest from media.

For the participants, they have exchanged their ideas through their artworks. They were from different regions and different cultures, so they were somehow united in a same manner. They have carefully listened to every one’s presentation. They have carefully watched each other’s artworks for days. In a nutshell, this was a great opportunity for exchanging cultural and social values between each other. The judges were also had the opportunity to engage with young artist from different parts of the world. They have carefully inspected the artworks and listened to every participant’s presentations. They have also got the opportunity to watch and hear from the next generation artists.  Our goal was to aware the mass people and provide the youths with a platform where they will be able to practically engage in their observation about the social impact of COVID. Adrita Islam from AIUB became the “Art Spotlight Champion” in this contest.
