Climate Literacy with Graphix - MGR

Climate Literacy with Graphix

SAVE Youth launches Climate Literacy with Graphix initiative…

April 22 is Earth Day! To celebrate the day, SAVE Youth launches Climate Literacy with Graphix initiative. CLG is an informed campaign initiative for building young people’s climate literacy with art, animation, video clips, stories, and social media posts. Earth is in a state of climate emergency! To turn this around, we need to become a climate literate society. The purpose of this campaign is to promote universal climate literacy and climate literacy civic education and engagement to transition to an ecological generation. Climate literacy will promote climate justice and allow citizens to engage with their governments in a meaningful way to address the climate crisis.

The Graphix/Art Responses may be in different categories: Hand art, digital illustration, animated video, graffiti, stories, and innovative social media posts. Bangladeshi youth, students, and activists are invited to submit original artworks. The three top best content creators will be awarded with a four-month long fellowship with stipend. All accepted artworks and ideas will receive a certificate of participation.

Artworks/Graphix/Stories/Posts must reflect the idea/impact to promote climate awareness, justice, social and political rights, climate civic education and engagement, etc. Special reflection on the rights of the community/people at-risk will be a priority.
