Save Youth Core Workshop- Jagannath University
Registration for SAVE Youth CORE WORKSHOP, 02-03 February 2024
SAVE Youth is a youth platform led by university students to promote peace, tolerance and respect for diversity- the ultimate means of peace in society. SAVE Youth intends to reach out to students and youth at different institutions aiming to promote the urge to say “NO” to all forms of violence and abuse, as well as to change the social beliefs, attitudes and behaviors that promote tolerance and diversity. SAVE Youth facilitates students to exercise leadership, creativity and passion for peace and diversity in the society.
SAVE Youth Bangladesh is going to organize two day-long CORE workshops at the Jagannath University on 02-03 February (09.30 am – 5.00 pm).
Participation benefits:
1. The participants will be eligible to apply for Youth Fellowships, Internships, Research Facilities, Participation in Youth-Led activities, Summits, National Dialogues, etc.
2. Participants will become the members of the SAVE Youth Network.
3. Participants will be awarded with a certificate of participation.
4. Food and workshop logistics will be provided.
Those who haven’t done the CORE Workshop of SAVE Youth before are cordially invited to participate here. Selected participants will be contacted through mail and phone.

SAVE Youth Bangladesh is a non-political and non-profit youth initiative that works to promote peace, tolerance, and diversity among young people in Bangladesh. They achieve this through various activities like workshops, seminars, and competitions. SAVE also runs a traineeship program that equips young people with valuable work experience.

Jagannath University (JnU) (Bengali: জগন্নাথ বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়) is a public university located in Sadarghat, Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh.[3] Founded as Dhaka Brahma School in 1858 and renamed Jagannath School in 1872, the 158-year-old institution was taken over by the then-Pakistan government in 1968. It opened graduate and post-graduate programs in 1975 and was approved as a full-fledged public university in 2005.[4]
Jagannath University opens its first residential hall, only for females.[5] The university is in the southern part of Dhaka city near the River Buriganga and a new campus of approximately 81 ha (200 acres) is being built at Keraniganj.[6] The total campus area is more than 85 ha (210 acres) with three camps and a women’s residence hall.
