On February 2nd and 3rd, 2024, SAVE Youth Bangladesh held two special workshops at Jagannath University. These events were a big success, bringing together 76 students from different backgrounds. The workshops were all about teaching important values like leadership, peace, and respecting everyone’s differences.
Everyone is Welcome
SAVE Youth Bangladesh believes in including everyone, and this was clear in the workshops. There were 40 women, 36 men, and one person with disabilities who attended. This mix of people shows that everyone deserves a chance to learn and grow.
Support from Partners
The workshops were successful thanks to help from groups like the Microgovernance Research Initiative-MGR, the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES), and USAID. Their support shows how working together can make a big difference.
Learning from the Best
Aynul Islam, the leader of SAVE Youth, and trainers Abdullah-Al-Sayed, Gazi Raushan Habib Anika, and Mazhar Uddin Bhuiyan, made the workshops interesting and educational. They shared their knowledge and inspired the students to make a positive change in the world.
Looking Ahead
The students were excited and eager to learn, showing that young people really want to make things better. SAVE Youth Bangladesh wants to keep helping and teaching young people to create a kinder, more understanding world.
Conclusion
The workshops at Jagannath University are just the beginning. SAVE Youth Bangladesh is on a mission to teach young people how to be good leaders and caring citizens. Their work shows that when we learn to respect and include everyone, we can build a better future for all.
